Stringer Removal

I finally got some work done today. I have really been putting off the really hardcore cutting of the stringer in fear of piercing the hull. Well, I put on my big boy pants on today and started cutting after I finished getting the rest of the deck up around the stern. Went smoother than I thought, and I hope to get much more done tomorrow. I cant get a whole lot done until the after noon. At night it gets down in the 20s and the water logged wood freezes and it is like working on a frozen turkey.

Total Rot all around the engine mounts

Ski Locker Bulkhead

Killing my back

The starboard engine mount. You can see all the black rot. I am not sure how this boat was held together.

The port side was not as bad, but you can see the contrast.

The pile of crap that came out of the boat.

Looking forward

The Rot just keeps going

No more stringers!!!! It is almost time to start grinding.

This video really shows you how depressing I was getting. The work was killing me.
