Building the Seat bases, cutting the pedestals, and building the bow boxes

I decided to build seat bases to keep the Chairs off the deck. These are two 3/4" pieces of ply glued together with Peanut butter. Once glued together, I used my Circular Saw to cut the angle at 45 degrees. By building these separate, it allows the seats to be screwed to a piece of wood that could be replaced if needed.

I drew around the base so I would know where to put it back after gluing.

I sanded under them and used PB to hold it down. I then put bricks on it to hold it in place.

Once it cured I covered it with a layer if 1708 followed by a layer if CSM to make it look nice.

Now onto the bow boxes. I used the old ones for a template

Once built and glued in place, I tabbed them with 1708

Yes there is supposed to be a gap at the top. there is a filler panel that goes over it.

This is the interior storage wall.

More decorative filler panels.

All done and ready for gel coat!
