A deepest thanks, and the boat has a name.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your kinds words, thoughts, and prayers. I showed this thread to my family and they were amazed at the support from people we have never met. You all have touched my family deeply. We laid Mom to rest this morning and had a wonderful memorial service this afternoon. Now we begin a new chapter in our life, and we must begin out healing.

I honestly believe that I was not meant to finish this boat before Memorial day. My Dad is really looking forward to finishing it with me, and taking it for our first voyage. We are starting at 8 am tomorrow and he has told me we are getting it done and in the water by next weekend. My Dad is a planner, and he has told me to have a schedule ready before we start work tomorrow...LMAO!!!!!!! That's my Dad. This is going to be therapy for us both, and I am also looking forward to finishing it and launching it in Mom's honor.
