Tabbing the Deck to the hull, and foaming the hull.

I have decided to go ahead with just one layer of 1708 for the tabbing and then two layers of CSM for the finish layer on the deck. Thanks for all the opinions guys.

Well the foam is DONE!!!!!! Whooohooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finished it up this morning, and it really was not as bad as I thought it would be. It is very messy, but if you get a plan going, you will be good to go. I am now working on the gas tank enclosure and I found floor mats made from recycled tires that will work perfect. I will just cut them into strips and glue them in.

Single 8" strip of 1708 Biax for the tabbing to the hull

I also wrapped the corners in the bilge.

Here is the two apart foam I used for the hull.

I used 2" pour and relief holes to guide the foam where I wanted it to go. Major learning curve. I had it down pat right when I finished.

My daughter called these mushrooms. It is where the foam came through the holes.

What a mess. You will go through a TON of supplies because the foam sticks to everything.
