How to remove a transom in your boat

I started with a small cutting wheel on my grinder and went around the entire skin and then pulled it off. This is what I found

I used a small chisel and a hammer to slowly remove the wood from the skin of the boat. Take your time when doing this. You will bust a few knuckles.

The transom is usually two different layers, and the first layer will come off easy.

After you chisel the second layer off, it should look like this. Then you start with the grinder to get rid of the rest.
